Taken for my Photography Essential Plus assignment at TAFE, this photo of the cut-glass decanter needed some adjustment. Firstly you can see that the bottle is slightly tilted to the left and the background is a bit yellowish and uneven. I fixed that by straightening the verticals, so that the bottle appears completely vertical and made the background a bit more white and even. Secondly, I made that image a bit more contrasting and clear so that the cut diamond pattern on the glass would pop out more. Finely, I improved the reflection at the bottle so the it would look more defined on the surface of the decanter.
